Precautionary Measures Against Diseases

In ancient times, cities were surrounded by high and strong walls to protect them if an enemy managed to break even a small part of a wall. So the security of the whole city was at stake. Our body is like a city with strong walls around it. The better we defend our body, the better our health will be. Here are five things that germs can get into your body, and learn how you can defend yourself.

  1. Water

Dangerous germs can easily enter your body through contaminated water.

How to defend:

The best way to protect yourself is to not let that water get contaminated. If you know or suspect that the water coming into your home is contaminated, you can clean it at home and make it usable. Keep water in the cooler, which is closed from above, use it. Do not touch clean water. If possible, try to live in an area where there is proper disposal of human waste, so that Local water resources should not be contaminated.

  1. Foods

Dangerous germs can be present in or on food.

How to defend:

Food contaminants can look fresh and nutritious, so make it a habit to wash fruits and vegetables thoroughly. The surface on which you place food should be clean. Some items need to be cooked to a certain temperature. So that the dangerous germs in them die. Don’t eat things that have changed color, stink, or have a bad taste, because it is a sign that the thing is bad. Refrigerate food as soon as possible. Do not cook for others if you are sick.

  1. Insects

Some insects have dangerous microscopic organisms inside them that can make you sick.

When insects that spread the disease are more active, stay indoors, or wear a full-sleeved shirt and long pants. To protect yourself from these insects, sleep in a net that is infested with insecticides, and apply a lotion or cream on the body to keep the insects away from you. Mosquitoes are often found in standing water. Lay eggs. So keep things covered in water.
